Rollers VS Bunk

How much are the tidal swings and how steep are the ramps? If the difference in depth from high to low is not that much and the ramps are steep enough the bunk will work. If you were up here in the North Shore you would definitely stick with rollers. No problem loading and launching by myself.

I have never owned a roller trailer but as a bunk trailer has less moving parts.....I would think there would be less upkeep. A bunk trailer is very simple although bunks do need to be checked and carpeting replaced as needed. Do rollers need to be lubed?

OK, new trailer is ordered. I went with a bunk with torsion bar, Load Rite 5 Starr

Rollers do need to be lubed but its a 1x a year thing. I grease the bearings, spray all the fasteners and springs with Boeshield or Corrosion X and grease the roller bars. That and every 4-5 seasons I replace the wheel cylinders in the drum brakes.
