Ok heres the story. New boat 50 days old. 2 perps try to break into a car in front of the house where my boat is kept. The police come and perps run into backyard where my boat is. They jump into the water and hide between my starboard side and the dock. Police find perps in water and drag them up onto dock. Perps have backpacks on and the side of the boat is scuffed and scratched . The damage does not appear to go beyond the gel coat but needs more than wax. What is my best way to buff out this section of boat. Thanks Al

you can try a rubbing compound. that may get rid of them, or at least hide them well. if it doesnt remove them wet sanding should

I found that a scara Sponge u know the green ones that you use for dishes. Use one of them with a little pressure and some domestos. So put a bit of domestos onto the sponge and then gently take of the scuffs. This little trick also works great on water lines. It doesnt scratch the gelcoat either. Then top it of with a poilish and wax. There is nothing worse when someone gets on the boat with black soeled shoes. Removed Pleanty of scuffs. Good luck
Kyle
