I was told to use silicone spray in my bilge/engine area to control any signs of rusting. Is this the best strategy? What spray should I get? I hear some people use wd40 but this makes it sticky, so it's not as good an idea?
Any other ideas options I should be aware of?
Also, for painted areas (like my black risers/manifolds), can I keep painting over areas that start to show rust to keep them looking new? Paint suggestions?
