Anybody else have this happen? Г 3/8 bolt that holds the tranny to the stringers, through some bigger hardware of course. 454 BBC with a Vee drive. Bolt snapped clean off and the trunnion mounts could not support the increased load and the entire drive train moved forward about 2" tilting on the mounts, OUCH!!!!!!!! I noticed it when I was underwater, Prop was rubbing against the strut. Any advise from people that have had this happen?? I planned on removing the bolt, jacking the engine-tranny aft, resecuring and checking all of the other bolts to the correct torque spec, confirming correct engine alignment then drinking heavily.
