I thought I heard that we were supposed to get some snow tonight, but when I turned on the news tonight, there was not a mention.

Has anyone heard/seen any TV/radio coverage?

I guessing you are out of town! You can't turn on the news and not hear about it. Highways are closing in a few minutes schools are already close for tomorrow, it's getting ugly out there!

You all stay safe. We will airlift milk and bread if needed. :-)

I prefer breast milk still in the breast for freshness home delivery sounds great! Should I leave my porch light on:)

I did end up finding one station that had a short piece on it. Thank God they told us that it was going to be slippery and cold out there. If not for that tidbit, how was anyone to know that snow on roads is slippery??

If they hadn't told me it was going to be cold, I probably would have gone out in my shorts and a tee shirt - I never would have figured it out by myself!

I really don't feel like getting out of bed to clear my driveway, it's cold outside!

What is this "clearing my driveway" of which you speak? When I woke up this morning, mine was all clear. Thank you landscapers.

Go to the news 12 web site and register your cell phone and you can get Hudson valley weather anytime and anywhere. I listen to it every day here in Key Largo FL so I know what I am missing.
Cool and windy here today. I had to wear a sweatshirt for my daily walk to the store for a paper. Not going to get above 70 today.

Cold today in Ft Lauderdale. High of 66 but sunny. Not looking forward to the return up north.

I meant to post this morning. From train (8:50 out of Croton) this morning, I noticed a coast guard cutter in channel just north of Spytin Dyvil bridge. There was a smaller coast guard boat and a police boat dealing with a barge on the rocks on the east shore of the Hudson. CG and NYPD were on the barge securing lines. I assume to tow it, maybe to secure it to the shore. It was a work barge with approx 24" round pipes on it, perhaps from TZ bridge project.

If there was no tug it probably came loose at the TZ bridge job and went down with the tide. I've seen barges with large pipe anchored out in the river there.

Dave your request is on the way. May I suggest though that in the future you be a little more selective in your request.

Just heard the weather report for the weekend.......Sunday we will have temps in the 80's......so I guess the snow will all melt..........OH WAIT......never mind :)

LMFAO!!! Yes I guess I should have been a little more specific in my request. I not need to go throw up:)

As for TZ barges breaking free this would be far from the first!

You guys OK up there? I see lots of news clips of drifting snow and worries about what'll happen when it melts.

We're due for a "hard freeze" here in NE FL, where it didn't get much above 40* the last couple days.

We're fine, however the 5" of snow almost brought us to our knees. I don't know how we deal with it, we'll probably be stuck in our homes for weeks!

Unbelievable how everyone makes such a big deal about snow these days like the world is coming to an end!
I just took a ride up to the boat and it looks like the River has Ice-burgs floating everywhere, not a good day to be out on the water. Hopefully soon this too shall pass.

Drove into Manhattan today, looks like some streets were never cleaned, so much snow on the road! The highways are ok, 1/2 my trucks couldn't start this morning and it took 5 hours to get our tractor trailer going, heading to the warm south.

Went t check on the boat today, forgot my shovel

It's only going to get worse now that DiBlasio is mayor
