I used Buff Magic to clean and prep the fiberglass followed by Rejex as the sealant/protectant. Looks really good but black streaks are still pesky to wash off.

What would be your recommendation to clean but not strip the rejex off? Seems I should have an everyday-soap and then something a bit stronger to hit black streaks.

I use West Marine Black Streak Remover and a damp rag. It works pretty well. I think that anything that removes the streaks will remove wax also though.
 
Turtle Wax car soap and Finesse It to remove the streaks. Then reapply the sealant to the streaked areas you cleaned. Interesting that you still have hard to remove streaks with the Rejex. With Zaino I found the vast majority of streaks would wash off with boat soap and there were a lot less of them.
 
I use Roll-off to clean black streaks and transome grime from diesel smoke. Works well and claims not to strip wax although I can't swear to it. Comes in a spray bottle. I have never found that traditional boat soap will clean black streaks.
 
If the boat is well waxed, i just use Meguiar's Qwik Wax to remove streaks.

I think Rejex is working pretty well though this is the first time I've tried it. Since some areas clean off easily I think the application may be wearing off or I didn't cover that area well.

Putting more on is ok but not each time the boat is cleaned. I've seen the roll-off in west marine (?I think), I could give that a try. The black streaks are really the only pesky problem, the rest of the boat looks great and cleans up nice.

I've been using Aurora products for years. Black streaks wipe off with a couple of their products and the polish underneath is not harmed.

Now, can somebody tell me what the heck actually causes black streaks? Is this a NE thing? We can get a ton of them where I am in MD with some rains, and none with others. Locally, we blame a coal-burning power plant. I notice when I spend time out of Maryland (Florida or Bahamas) I don't usually get black streaks.
