Ok, the boats now hitting close to 10 years old and it's time to replace some of the salon Fabrics that are on the seam panels

I'm looking for a source of pleated marine upholstery fabric. Right now it's some sort of Ultrasuede and I may move to an Ultraleather or vinyl. The pleating is a must to cover the screw heads.

Anyone ever find/use stuff like this?

dont you think it was just sewn up by the builder?

Yeah, it's not pleated material--it's done by the upholsterer.

I'm in the process of recovering all the window and trim panels in our 1995 34C and just bought a bolt (a little over 13 yds of cotton blend. The fabric does not come pleated, it's something that you have to do yourself. I would suggest that you try and find a fabric warehouse and look at the various upholstery fabrics, especially those in 54" widths. There are a number of them online, but it's best to go and see the fabric for yourself. Good luck.....I'm almost done (only 2 unpleated panels to go and then I tackle the pleated panels around the bottom of the windows).
