SPBM

We had a great 4 day vacation down in Washington DC for Presidents' Day and now looking to get ready for Hawaii, then summer vacation. I was the same way, I use to save all my vacation days, then end up getting paid for not using them or loosing them. Not any more. Life is too short not to take vacations. Just remember when you are on your death bed, non of your co-worker will say wow he was a great worker, and never took a day off for vacation. If I am a productive worker throughout the year, I am taking my vacation when I want, just like any other person.

Butch,
As a boatered subscriber, please review the agreement policy regarding cursing on the forum board. I think you just violated it by using the word "w0rk"!

Bob these are words of wisdom that I wish I could live by. Much like my feeling about enjoying life while I'm healthy enough to do so! This is the reason I own a boat!

The reason I own a boat is because I'm a sadist and love putting my money in the drink instead of the bank.

WeekEnd!!!

Yep. Boat show tomorrow and flying to San Diego on Sunday for a week long conference. 8-)

I'll check tomorrow I'm more concerned about there being docks then deep water! I haven't seen much in the way of progress yet crunch time is here, I think it's now or never.

Good morning. Do you all feel it up in the air? It almost time. Hogan's countdown is at zero months four weeks etc... Can't wait!!!

Before we know it, the 2013 boating season will be over.

Since my flight was delayed, I went up to the marinas to survey the goings on. It seems our friend Dave figured out a way how to get out of his potty line replacement. He sliced his hand open and was on the way to the hospital to get it fixed up. On another note, there was a rather large crew putting in docks at SPBM and it looks like G-dock is well under way. Good for them and the folks who were planning on spending the summer there. There was a back hoe out there on a barge but I could not tell if it was dredging or pulling up a couple of sunken boats.

I hope Dave is OK. I called him he was in the hospital. HM people hope all of our new boaters from other marinas are happy and that they adjust well. Very nice of them!

Thanks Allen you happen to call just as I got to the ER. I wrapped my hand in a towel and then in a bag when I got to the ER it looked a look worse then it was! It was one bloody bag but only took four stitches to close it up. The good news is I found an easy way to replace my waste lines, pay someone else to do it:)

As for SPBM when I got to my boat it looked like they had 7 or 8 guys working on the docks. It looked pretty clear to me they are doing what the have can to fix things back up. I for one am happy for them!

I only have one problem I may run out of gin today!
