Spider Netting, insect protection

Have sprayed slip with Suspend.
Spiders were hitting the boat deck like meatballs.

Also, purchased some spider netting from marina. Marina was very secretive about the source, and would not reveal the maker's website. Have searched the internet and no luck. Does anyone have any info or leads to a website Re. this spider netting?

Get "Home Defense" not suppose to spray it in the water but it will get rid of all spiders and other insects for at least three months.
We had a real problem with spiders on our boat one year and I sprayed the just before launch and we only see an occasional spider or insect nothing like before. You can use it inside and out, doesn't mark anything and it drys fast.
I found it at Home Depot.

I hired a fellow at the dock to spray on about 6 gallons and it covered about 8 slips. I had about $260.00 in the fellow labor and the Home Defense chemical. I was hoping some of the others where I sprayed might make a small donation but I didn't have any takers. One fellow said spiders sure are much less over here than the dock in front of us. I srayed last year and hardly ever saw a sprider. This year was good but the jet black spriders were not on our dock but a sprider that has the appears of a grass hopper----long legs---I don't know if I will spray for the others next year or not One of the docks one of the fellows got a bad bite and missed a week of work. Home Defense didn't do as good of a job against this spider but it helped a little---but no black spiders

I bought a product at Rural King for use in barns and the like. Seems that our spyders crawled primarily on the verticle posts and then only across the beams supporting the roof. I know because the pattern of spyder fecal was in alingnment with those beams. I sprayed once or twice a month above my slip and on the slips surrounding me. As you walked the dock, there was a definitive line where the spyders started and stopped. Our slips were web free. For the occasional intruder who found his way in via some wind or hopping a ride somehow, I kept a spray solution of 3-4 ozs of rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle topped with water. Anywhere I saw a spyder I zapped them. The solution is friendly to surfaces and humans. The spyders don't move much after initial zapping, and in a few hours they turn crispy and transparent.

I've heard that placing some oil of peppermint [not food flavoring] will keep spiders away. Has anyone ever heard of or used this? If so, did it work? I'd rather not use poison in the boat since my Maltese dog is with me at all times.....

TIA

I went with a guy Salmon and Rainbow fishing, up the Talkeetna River in an Aluminum Jet boat.
We saw three Bears while fishing and a couple more as we were heading further up the river to a place where we could spend the night without fear of flooding.
We pulled a big sheet of Mosquito netting down over the rear of the open Cabin and sprayed some 'OFF' all around the edges of the netting. The netting worked well against the Mosquitos, and maybe aginst the Bears too.
I didnt sleep a wink that night after seeing those Bears.
