Well, I have some tough stains that wont come out of some vinyl on my seats. I am going to spray them with vinyl paint.

Heres some questions:

Which brand paint in the spray can is the best?

How well does the spray hold up? Can you tell its been sprayed, does it feel weird?

Ive heard people have had really good results...

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure of the brand I bought, DupliColor I think, got it at one of the auto world stores. They usually only carry black and white in stock. Have had fantastic results. My white spray job is about 7 years old now, still looks great.
Clean the vinyl with soap to remove any vinyl silicone cleaner residue. Let it dry in the sun. Spray it with multiple coats of paint letting it dry in the sun between coats. When it looks like it has covered your stains good time to stop.
I can't tell which vinyl I sprayed without studying the seats really close, it works that well.

I too have had great results. I used what ever Ace hardware had at the time. I sprayed red and white. Took my time, taped off well and also used multiple coats drying in the sun between coats.

Felt fine afterwards and held up well.

I had great results with changing the color of a few car interiors. I'm not sure how long it might last on a boat. If you don't like the results you can always get the boat seats recovered.
Doing non seating areas in a car (door panels, trim, etc..) isn't the same as thick boat cushions that are exposed to all the elements and flex.
It's worth a try.

Excellent results with DuplColor from AutoZone. Last use was on added rear seat to make the color match the front. #years and still looking factory.
