I wanted to extend a "THANKS" to Mike Ryan.
I was in Florida for a week and while I was gone my boat was damaged by a storm at my marina. Apparently my boat's bow rammed into the dock during high winds and waves and left a 5"x3" mark on my bow. The gouges and scratches were so deep I thought for sure I'd need to make an insurance claim!
Seeing that I come on here and have read Mike's advice, and he's also on another boating forum I frequent, I decided to ask him for his help.
He came to my boat on a Sunday voluntarily and gave me reassurance, and an estimate. He also fixed the gel-coat so good that you'd never know anything ever happened! And for a very reasonable price. I can only imagine what my boat would've looked like if I had tried to wet-sand, wheel out, and do what he did to the damaged part! +1 for Mike [8D] Now I have to learn how to tie better dock lines [:0] LOL
