A new restaurant supposedly accessible by water. I say supposedly because their docks are not in yet but they should have room for a few boats. The owner thinks there's 9' of water there but somehow I doubt it so we'll have to find out.

It's in Ossining, just south of Shatemuck, north of Westerly. It's very close to the road though with a parking lot between the building and the river. However, they have plans for a tiki bar.

Te food was awesome. Wife had salmon, I had fillet Mignon. We shared calamari. The people were very friendly as well and the price was reasonable (maybe even cheap).

To bad the river isn't still frozen, we could walk over. Well keep us up to date with the docks. Have to give it a try when they drop them in.

Is that the old Salazzos (sp) Italian restaurant?

We used to dink over and do take out when we spent the night at S.Croton.

It could be Jonathan, in fact, considering I know of no other restaurant there, odds are it was. Apparently it has been a restaurant on and off for decades. Now it's in the hands of new owners who are making a go of it. I wish them luck.

Jonathan, didn't we all go there one night?

Yep,

I think I had the Ravioli.

That place wasn't bad.

That's gotta be over 15 years ago?

Probably more than 15 years, was Tim born? I have no clue what I had, but I do remember we dumped a bag of garbage into their dumpster.

I'll have to find the old log book and see what it says.

Seems like where evere you go you leave garbage Mike....

Yep, gotta dump it somewhere when you spend the weekend on the hook.

So true, and the good thing is its not in the river. Just doing your part to keep the environment clean..
