You are already way ahead of me! I haven't even made a check list. I have no dash on the boat and haven't started the work however did tear it apart, so I'm committed. I have not upholstery however I'm told it will be ready when I am (this remains to be seen). I am looking forward to getting started as soon as the weather breaks!
 
The weather has been broken for a couple of months now
 
Here in Richmond, it hit the low 70's today...beautiful day.
By this time tomorrow night, it will be in the upper teens and they tell us we're going to have 4-8 inches of snow.
 
Just checked the forecast and tomorrow's low is -4... WTF?????
 
I have never been happier that the weathermen got this one wrong! I never even saw a flake. I guess it's time to go pull the cover, well maybe not just yet but we are getting closer every day:)

I came back to the misery this weekend. Our rental period was over. I had to winterize the boat for the second time before the trip home. The first time was in november before I went south. I also have to do spring commissioning before it goes in. Maybe if I chop the ice out of my slip I can be the first one in SPBM again this year.
 
The good thing is you guys can stand on the ice and chop away the worst that could happen is you might get your pants a little wet being there is not that much water beneath the ice:)
 
It's a balmy SIX degrees this morning. Yep, spring is coming...
 
Not so bad here. Forecasted -4 and we ONLY got down to 3!

Damn it's cold...
 
I had a customer call this morning and ask me to come adjust and focus outdoor cameras I asked when and she said today would be really good, there is not a chance I will be working outside today!! I don't even want to walk to my truck when it's this cold out.
The good news is Spring is just around the corner and this crazy cold Winter will so be a bad memory and then we can start complaining about how hot it is:)

Be nice Dave. If you have a small boat you have less repairs, less maintenance, use less fuel, need less water and can take it with you when you go south for the winter. Ask me how I know.
 
And it is well worth the extra to just go in and out whenever we want..... So now who has the best marina in Rockland County???

LOL it's cold outside I figured I would stir the pot:)
As for the $5 I'm not happy about it but at least I have 17-20 beneath my boat and not sucking mud into my A/C units at low tide!
