The clock is ticking!

Shrink wrap is coming off and canvas going on this weekend. I don't care what the forecast is. But then I am a little further south than you guys.

Walter- You have a great boat and someone will be very lucky to own it. Have no idea of market or price of your vessel but priced right, it should sell.

Ok, I am ready to do something crazy. I a board to death, nothing to do. Going. To run my dinghy engine again and watch the tiny tach I installed working.

I thought about going up to the marina today, then decided not to...

I did go, was thinking on taking off the props and the port side swim platform piston (again) wind was out of control.

Finally a little action up at the marinas today. Didn't see anybody talking their wrap off but at least it wasn't all ghost towns.

At SPBM someone had the shrink wrap off and was waxing with a buffing machine. I doubt anyone is launching soon with all the ice in the river. I'm as anxious as anyone to get out there but not with the ice. I'll wait.

I stopped up at the boat as well I didn't see anyone working on their boats but I did see people coming to see if others were starting. I'm hoping the weather permits work to commence next weekend, what this work will be I'm not sure. I may start by cleaning and sanding the bottom before pulling the cover and getting the dirty part done first.

Anyone have a time frame as to when they plan to pull their covers?

Mines been launched since October, I'm ready to go..........who needs the travelift.

Great! I'll come hang out on your boat until it warms up! We can have a Red Peters reunion

I would like to believe that today is Winter's last hurrah! I'm thinking next Saturday may be the day to start working on the boat:) Still not sure I will pull the cover but I may prep the bottom for paint, start cleaning inside and tinkering with the many projects I have planned.

You are many things but I don't think an angle has ever made the list! You won't see me making that claim either:)
