I have a 1972 Albin 25 which I have restored from abandoned derelict to Bahamas crossing ready island cruiser.
The exterior was covered with lichen and moss when the boat was given to me. I pressure washed and discovered a very-distressed paint job, problably Imron or something like it. I removed all the hardware, windows, etc., sanded, patched, filled cleaned etc., then applied Pettit EasyPoxy undercoat, then the EasyPoxy finish coat, roll and tip method. Looked great for about 18 months. Now it's coming off. I can't afford to have it stipped and shot with Imron or something like it. Any advice on there to go from here? Maybe a two-part paint, roll and tip? Thanks. John in Augusta
