Vinyl Cleanup and Protection

The white vinyl on my ten year old boat is showing the black spots from years of not so good treatment.

I am not periodically using a Mildew and Stain Remover, that takes care of any current problems. However, there is much spotting due to old problems.

What do you all use to clean and protect your vinyl? Are there any sprays that will help with covering up the old blac/gray spots?

I have seen a aerosol can of a vinyl spray to coat the vinyl. However, I an leary that this would peal off over time.

Any help apprediated.

I used that paint for vinyl on some old cushions once. Was amazed at the results. Looked and felt like new and didn't crack or peel with use.

so was I. These two cushions were over 10 years old and I would have had to replace them. They looked and felt great for the next four years I owned the boat. They were an eyesore before I opainted them. I don't remember, but was this a "Tempo" paint?
 
I just re-dyed all the exterior seating on my 3575 Cruisers Yacht. I bought the dye (not paint) from Parasol Inc. They have a product called Varicote. It took time to prep the seats (had to rub them thoroughly with lacquer thinner to remove any oils). After masking out the accent piping, I sprayed them with an auto-type spray gun in my driveway. They look great! Finished them off with a good sealer/conditioner. They look & feel new.

Coating all the seats (about 21 lin/ft)used about 3 qts. of product.
 
I might have to try this on my 18 year old bridge seats. The vinyl is a super light grey (Carver) with blue piping. Two questions:

1) I'd like to change it to more of a light cream, almost white color. Do you think it will cover the grey okay? (maybe it would also cover the grey in my beard?)

2) I'd prefer to change the blue piping to the light cream color as well, do you think it will cover than okay? Thanks!
 
If you go to their website, they have a demo of a guy painting a black seat to white. This products works great.
