Watch Hill Blast….
This past weekend Watch Hill seemed to be the most full for this late in season than I can remember from the past. The predicted good weather may have had something to do with that.
The LIYC had 17 boats that rallied together on very short notice and made it.
We were spread out from A-land to D-land. I like the new additions of the Bocce court and Horse shoes. Played Bocce for the first time and have to say I was not that bad.
But our Wiffle ball game was a different story. Let's just say, I am not as good as a 5th grader. I was 1 for 5 and got struck out by a 10 year old girl. Aside from hurt pride, we had two causalities, a pulled hamstring and a possible broken toe both women. But all in all the game was lots of fun.
Was sorry to see the restaurant closed for the season, some of us were counting on a sit down meal on Friday. But Saturday night we had a huge very well stocked BBQ.
Anyone else there? I walked around and only found a couple of the LICC regulars.
