I recently purchased the Weaver Leaver system, and I spent a great deal of time obtaining technical information from Weaver. My suggestion would be for you to contact Weaver directly. Google weaverindustries; I'm sure they can provide you with some answers. You'll probably have to let them know if your dink is PVC or Hypalon.
Had to re-glue mine once. Need to make sure surface is very clean (hard to get old glue off). Make sure you have a good fit and apply pressure overnight. As LenB said you need the proper glue for the material of your dink. Luck. Dale
