Well this sucks...

What exactly sucks; the fact that somebody hit a wall with their boat or that 99% of iPhone users can't take a video with the phone in the right orientation? :-)
 
Why won't they get off the sinking boat. Clear day, why did they hit the wall.
 
I would like to find out more about this story... 10K hidden on a cruising boat behind a panel is not by itself a crime. Also that water near the river edge must be very very deeeeeppp...
 
No sympathy at all for this one. Boating is a serious thing, even when having fun. Those who have no respect, deserve none in return. Lucky she did not kill someone innocent.
 
Someone posted this, "Next day on Barter Junkies: Boat for sale. Like new, used very little. Some minor water damage. No lowballers, I know what I have".

Nearly spit up my coffee when I read that.

You see the weirdest things out there.

While out on USCG AUX patrol last weekend, we came across two women in bikinis (and nothing else) fishing from a paddleboard/surfboard along the edge of a commercial vessel channel. Sadly, we see these things way too often. We put the message out endlessly and yet folks still do strange things. Sometimes, it's just a matter of picking up the pieces.
 
her phone was dead she said, probably from texting and driving a boat in a tight channel.
Pay attention and you won't hit the wall!
