Even with all the logic those guys have presented, I'm with Jim on this one.
I just want to wash it off once in awhile. Shiney is NOT necessary.
When I had a Commercial Halibut operation going in my 29' Glass boat, I cleaned the decks with a wash down pump and salt water.
It began to stink.
So I did the Clorox wash and then as a measure to keep it clean and wash it down easily, I waxed the Deck with Liquid Turtle Wax.
LOL, it took a few days for that to wear off and we could walk without holding onto something. I never considered something like that again.
I'll leave waxing to the Neatniks.
