hi, not sure what the proper name for this is, but I just bought a boat with an upper command bridge that has stand-up enclosed canvas, and I can't tell what the prior owner did with the front window/windscreen panel when he wanted it up and out of the way (short of just unzipping the whole panel).
This panel can't just be easily rolled up into a small roll like the side panels as for whatever reason it has about an 8 inch hard plastic flap attached to the bottom of it.
I was thinking I might have a fabric flap attached with a zipper that extends slightly below the plastic flap and then attach the other side of this zipper to the top of the bimini, so that I can just unzip the panel on the sides and pull it up inside the bimini and zip it effectively to the top of the bimini to get it out of the way.
Is this what people do? Or any other suggestions? I want the thing out of the way when I'm using the boat and I don't want it flapping around if I have the boat up on plane either...
Thanks
