Anyone used it on non skid. Instructions say apply to wet decks, scrub in, let dry and hose off after about 30 min. So does it run down all over the rest of the hull. I just waxed the hull and am thinking its gonna make a mess all over the other freshly waxed areas?

yes, I have. It works but, very time consuming to apply and a real PITA. The end result was pretty good. If you don't buff after the hose off step, it looks pretty dull. Once it sets, the hosing should not be a problem with making a mess. Good project for a sunny day!

I tried both but, regular wax makes my non skid slicker than snot. The woody wax is not slippery. I find that it will last about a month with regular washing.

Based on that, I may just buff it a little and try 303. However, this may make the surface slicker than snot on ice :)

Sounds much easier than woody s....and would probably last as long.

I tried Aurora SureStep and Woody Wax. The SureStep was difficult to apply (clean well, dry, brush wax on with stiff brush, let dry and brush off). SureStep was still difficult to clean up. Woody Wax was easy to apply (wash deck, while deck still wet, spray wax on deck brush and rub on deck, let deck dry). Bird droppings and black foot prints just wash off. Grease prints on engine hatches also rinse off. SureStep was not this easy.

PLEASE do not use regular wax on the non-skid! That will totally defeat the purpose of non-skid when its wet. An accident waiting to happen. I detail boats all the time & use Woody Wax. I usually apply it to a wet deck with a soft brush as directed. Let it dry then buff out with a clean towel. I personally find no need to rinse off any extra. If there's extra to rinse off after it dries, I would think too much was applied..... Works for me, but your mileag may vary :)

I did the woody wax yesterday to the foredeck, sides, and swim platform. I'm planning another coat of polish (Zaino) today and I think I will wash first to remove any of the woody that might of gotten on the sides during the rinse off phase.

I used Woody Wax just yesterday ... it's super easy. Took me a little over an hour from start [cleaning with deck cleaner] to finish .... and 30 minutes of that was waiting for it to dry.[:-thumbu]

Be sure that you don't use too much. Three trigger sprays did the entire deck of our 26'.
