She won't fit under the Golden Gate Bridge?
I was watching the first video and at about 12 second in there is water being discharged from the bow. I wonder what that is all about?

It'll get under the Golden Gate Bridge, close hauled on an upwind tack in a really good breeze.

I've got a 34' sailboat and manhandling the sails on and off the boat is a PITA. How would you even begin to remove the sails from that boat for maintenance or replacement?

Manhandling the sails is not something that the owner of a 247' boat worries about. The video states that the job or mainsail (I do not remember which) weighs 3,000 pounds.

Agree that handling sails is a minor detail the owner doesn't even think about. The invoice is taken care of by chump change from his petty cash box.
My question is how the sails are handled.

Mirabella was in Savannah last year for about 6 months having a refit done. She is so tall she will not fit under any bridge in the world so the trip planning must be done very carefully. The mast is so tall that the local authorities made her mount a light on the top so that low flying planes and the mosquito choppers would not hit her mast. She was at Thunderbolt marine which is just around the corner from my house so we got to cruise over and take a close look.
