Anyone near Lindenhurst NY?

Ron and all-thanks for the feedback. Don thought it was a solid boat when walking around cockpit etc. I am working on getting some shipping quotes depending what I find there I may go forward. Any recomendations for a surveyor in the area? Thanks Jim

P.S. not concerned with speed especially with gas at 3-4$ per gallon. I have called on one pacemaker 30' that is advertized as a single but haven't got a response to see if that is the case or not.

Glen,
Don weighs about 400 lbs .... so he would know solid !!!!

Guys (especially Don), thanks for the assistance on this boat. I am going to pass as the boat is too large really for my needs and the cost of transport is prohibitive. Don had good things to say about the boat so if you know anyone looking foa lot of boat for little $$ please pass it on. The ad is on the New York craigslist for more details.

When you say expensive to ship? Have you considered driving her? How far you need her moved?
So long as you have the yard ready to winterize her or DIY when you get to where you're going?
Looking to get help piloting?

Jim..... Good Luck in your search.

Capt......Jim lives in Colorado.......I think he was looking into shipping by truck/trailer costs.
