Dave, they did a beautiful job on Allen's boat, you should feel very comfortable using them.

Well again they did both my Trojan and my Maxum. Both perfect. They did my friend Dave with the searay, Fred with the carver and others. All very happy, on time and the price is the price. Go for it. :-)

This is so obvious it's almost dumb but a friend pointed this out and it makes sense and works.
Flies cannot fly in wind. So, we now use a fan on the bridge when hanging out. A simple $20 oscillating fan keeps the damn flies away.

And cigars taste and smell better, too!

Seafarer in Ossining does excellent work.

I do not think you can take your boat to him though.

I would use him, I did many years ago.

Better than what? I've worked on holding tanks with less odor!

However those damn cigars also keep a lot of the women away as well..... that may be the motive behind smoking them....

+1 they can arrange for a slip.

They told me they have a slip and took q $1000 off the price for bringing it to them. So I guess I'm bringing it to them:)

I'm not thrilled about spending the money but I'm excited to get it done. I may bite the bullet and get new carpet for the cockpit as well.

FWIW, when I redid the canvas on my searay, I had added a window to the center of the back drop. Along with that, there was a mesh screen, and on the other side of that was stratta glass or something of the kind..Then, on the canvas, it had a part that rolled up and down for privacy...

Also great for when laying out at night just unzip and you get the fresh air in the cockpit..

What are you talking about? I attract a lot of women with my cigars.

Damn, that was funny!

I used John on a number of occasions, and I've also used Bill at Seafarer for a complete new camper top. Both will promise you what you want to hear and neither will live up to the timeframe that they have committed to.

If Heidi is still at Seafarer, I would suggest using her as your contact. She was great.

Yea those are the types of females I want to see on Blue Dock - NOT!!!! They may however fit in other places...., and may actually be an improvement.

I have a full camper in the back, huge window with a zipper. It rolls up and two straps hold it up. No leaks, its great for venting the boat when you want to keep the camper closed, have a net in the back.

Exactly what I had installed. I only have pics of stern with screen inserted, but the plastic window is almost as big!

Dave, whatever you do, I would NOT go with a screen in any of the windows. They get the window dirty and really block any flow of air. When I had the camper back, I cut the screens out of the windows and got a much better air flow.

I would have been eaten by mosquitoes without screens. So it depends on the environment....

I like to just open things up whenever I can so I'm not real concerned about screens one way or the other.

Pete yes Heidi is still their she is married to Bill not sure where she would go:) I have spoken to both of them and the are both very nice. I was told if I drop the boat off at the end of a weekend it will be ready by the next.
