Is it Spring yet?

Now I know why I stay inside every year. If it wasnt for those fiberglass guys, I would be done by now making fun of all you outside chumps. I was ready to splash this time last year. The only thing I have done so far is prep the boat for bottom paint. Hopefully next year they will have completed their work and moved on so I can take back my rightful domain.

Hank, you're getting a taste of how the rest of us peons live...

If the weather this year was as warm as it was last year, I'd have the cover off already and be working on the boat. I'm in no rush with this year's weather.

Mike I know you are waiting for me when I come back from Hawaii to uncover your boat so we can drink Sapphire and Schwepps togehter with Hank and smoke his cuban cigars on his new "Money is no Object" swimplatform.

If you plan on standing on my "money is no object" swimplatform, you are going to get awfully wet.

Don't count on Hank's money, he is broke. I took his buffer machine!!!

This weather really BLOWS I'm starting to get cold feet about pulling the cover. They are calling for snow Saturday and Monday. I don't think it will stick or accumulate but none the less I think I might just hold off a few more days.

Too early to pull the covers boys.........

unless the boat is at your house on it's trailer like mine is. I can do a little work on it, then go inside to warm up my fingers and have a drink.
Spring is coming. Be patient. Striper season starts tomorrow but it's much too cold for me to be out there.

Your boat is still warm from Florida. Our boats are still all frozen in.......

the snow. You're right, it's still warm. But when your bones get over 70 like mine are you have to go someplace warm in the winter. It's the law. Being able to bring your boat just makes it better.

Well the deed is done! Hank gave me a hand and we pulled the cover as soon as we started it started to snow:) So the good news is if the rule of thumb is correct and we get one last snow after the first cover is pulled then we should be done now:)

It's hard to make out but that white stuff is snow!

I spotted this guy in the yard standing outside in the snow smoking a fake cigar:)

Camera doesn't pick up the snow very well but it was really coming down not sticking but sure was coming down.

I am addicted to these vapor cigars. Ordered some Cohitas. Haha There is nothing like a real quality cigar on a quiet night in Bow Line but I'm having fun with these things now. They keep the Admiral from yelling at me. Added bonus.

Nothing better then Cohibas and fireworks they just go well together!
