Is it Spring yet?

Washed boat, scraped outdrives, put canvas up, cleaned fenders, tomorrow wax...Oy!!! This used to be a labor of love. Starting to feel a hell of a lot like just labor!

Finished bottom painting, put zincs on.

My back is killing me.

I agree!

My back is shot!!!!!!!!!
I have pain down my leg I feel like an old man!
But I in the home stretch I should be ready by the end of the week:)

Two day laborers at 10 bucks an hour each and boat was ready to go. Best $200 you can spend. Great for me and for them.

Cover is off, spending our first night of the season on board. Running the genny all night since there is no electric on the dock. See you all in the morning!

We were thinking about doing the same thing next year!!

I'm almost done and I'm thinking about doing this today! I could barely walk last night and I'm about to head up for another round of this torture. I hope to finish today if my back holds out.

All are OK!

Half the boat waxed..taking a break. Oddly, my back and arms...which are usually the problem when I do this..are fine. Its my left knee giving me hell! Had problems with it for years but usually works its way out, doesn't seem to be the case this time. Maybe need a trip to Dr. Mark.

My boat is only 28 feet and this is a job and a half. You guys with the big boats gotta be really hurting!!

Oh well...break over.

Bob that is great news for you and your family. With that in mind and since you will be the FNG at Haverstraw this year it sounds like the drinks/snacks will always be on you.....

Bill I just check my bank statement, I didn't see the decimal point the first time, I guess I'm not that rich anymore. Now I need new glasses, but your welcome over for a cocktail anytime.

We had a very stressful night up here thinking of you!
Now why are there so many posts? No one is working on their boat?

What about Ron and Warren?

After another weekend of work, 2/3 of the boat is waxed, bottom paint is done, hydraulic swim platform is running well again, zincs are on and still a long way ahead of me!

Good Point, Congrats to Ron and Warren as well. Since you guys are in the water, you are welcome to help prep my boat with me, but preferably prior to my return from Hawaii as this would work best for me.
