Is it Spring yet?

Yes this is the plan but it was also the plan to be in the water Saturday, plans change. I hope I don't have to delay this appointment I'm really looking forward to having the work done but I need the current work to be completed to my satisfaction first!

I seems very quite the last few days I'm hoping everyone is on their boats enjoying themselves! I'm heading up now to continue cleaning I hope to launch soon and want to be done before I splash.

Thanks for helping today Dave, saved me $100.
Launched my dinghy (thanks again Dave) r
Ave all 4 raw water intake valves, ac, bothe engines and geny. Also replace all the hoses to the strainers, they were all cracked. Thought I was able to fix one of the valves that wasn't closing all the way, came home it is totally frozen, can't open it all all. I guess great timing. Tomorrow finish shining the boat with Rejex! Really working very nice so thank you all for the great tip! Oh and tanks Bill for the ride :-)

Allen I was happy to help! How was you dinghy ride? I didn't get as much done as I had planned but tomorrow is another day. I did make a a new carbon fiber dash panel for one of my Garmin units, this is something I have been planning to do for several years but never got around to it.

When I bought the boat it had a Furuno radar so when I redid the helm I didn't make a panel for this area. When I replaced the radar with the Garmin unit I didn't have time to make a panel I just installed it into on a starboard panel and that's the was it stayed until now. I'm pretty happy with the finished product.

Old radar

I'm just about done with my projects this year. Just new canvas, new bow cushion and cover and lets not forget new cockpit carpet. OK so I guess I'm nowhere near done yet:) At least the rest of the projects I'm paying someone else to do.

Thank for the kind words.

Dave the carbon fiber looks great. Did you get your MMSI yet?
Bill

Finally done with Buff Magic and Rejex all arround the boat, only have the cockpit ans the sides on the stern. Will have to wait. Hank i am ready to launch see you soon!!
Mike none of my 100 soldiers showed up so it took longer than I though it would!

Thanks Bill, I keep forgetting to take care of the MMSI I do as soon as I can it not going to help much until I splash. Update yes I just took care of it I will enter it in on my next visit maybe later tonight:)

Hank I hope to be in some time this week. I will visit my slip and then we will drop it of for the canvas work. I can't wait to see it all finished it should look great when everything is done.

I have cleaned everything I can get to and even so things I can't:)

1. What are you cleaning with Dave?
2. Do you realize that something changed either on BE or photo bucket and the links we post don't just set the picture rather then link to you photo bucket account?
3. My dinghy was launched successfully by my self and Dave's help and my boat hopefully this week, getting very excited :-)

Allan do you remember complaining to me about tape being used on your boat? Well I was removing the tape clue left behind. I used a contractors adhesive remover then I cleaned that off with a regular spray cleaner I think it was dirty job or something like that. Of coarse after cleaning comes the waxing:) At this point I'm really done but being I have to wait for the platform I just keep cleaning in fact I may start all over again and do another coat, I think it would help with the swirl marks left from the first coat. I may continue tomorrow I think I will finish work early so I will head up there in the afternoon.

Found out my launch date is actually the 22ed, for some reason I thought it was this week. Ohhhh hope they can still get my boat in this week!!!

It has been a slow start to the season this year wrapping up repairs on my swim platform took longer then expected. I stopped up at the boat yesterday and it looks like I may be ready this afternoon. I decided to take the day off and help finish up any loose ends. We will install the platform and test all my batteries I may even add another battery bank today. My boat currently has an 8D per motor as a combination of starting/house battery and I can select which battery I use as the house I have been thinking about doubling up on my existing 8d batteries and adding a third. If I make this upgrade I would use my port batteries as the house as the norm giving my twice the amp hours and yet still have another 8D as a backup which I can always use the parallel switch to start the port if I were to run down the house bank. This would give me a tremendous capacity and allow me to use my generator a little less.
I figure I would try to make Hogan happy:) Speaking of Hogan where is he he has been very quite lately!
