I tryed magic markers by Mr. Clean today on my fiberglass plactic decals and it was a joke. Didn't even faze the decals----what a joke

What were you trying to do with the decals? I don't think magic erasers will remove decals but they should certainly be able to clean them. Did you have the Magic Eraser wet enough? I find they work excellent on anything I've tried to use them on.

I've used them on fiberglass and vinyl and was amazed at how well they work. I love them.

Possibly because you used Magic Markers and not Magic Erasers!

OOPS, just saw your 2nd post. You CAN edit a post.

Seriously, Magic Erasers work great! Please don't rub too hard on shiny fiberglass, though---it'll dull it.

I am trying to remove the decals. It was Magic Erasers by Mr. Clean.

Magic Erasers are not made to remove decals. They remove stains, spots, etc. but not decals. Try a hair blower on the decals.

Magic Erasers remove stains. Graphics erasers remove decals.

try the orange rubber wheel type of remover on drill. slow but it works

Tried to remove graphics with Mr. Clean Magic Erasers???? Somebody's confused. Oh wait, we are, this was a joke!!!

I would think that if I had bought a Magic Eraser, thinking beforehand that it was going to remove a decal, that somehow I must have heard something wrong.

Isn't it obvious that they wouldn't remove a decal without actually trying to do it?

Bill, use a heat gun (not too close) to heat up the decal, then a putty knife or flat thin metal strip to begin prying it off the gelcoat. You can also use 3M Adhesive Remover to clean the gelcoat after you remove the decal to get off the last drop of glue. *Careful with the heatgun if you never used one.
