Where in Sag?
Looks like we will cross paths in Mystic and Westhampton.

WE have stayed at Malloy's west-used to be Barons cove- no pool but short walk to town
May try Waterfront marina which is right in town
 
Where are YOU going to be staying this year Andy? Overnighting in the dinghy with the dog? <gg>

How far is it from Mystic to Martha's vinyard Oaks bluff?

Its about 80-85 miles from the mouth of the mystic river to Oaks Bluf - we will run at 20-21Knots (my cheepest speed :D)
 
I'm waiting on the Admirals work schedule but we are shooting for the 3 nites in Mystic.
 
Mark, That sounds great, let us know, the more the merrier.

Andy, Seems like a long way to go for such a short stay. Plus I assume it doesn't save you much on the trip to Sag from Oak Bluff? I would have to cruise a little faster to stay on plane, 21 knots is bare minimum for me to plane, but depending on conditions, I can do it.

Walter, How do you feel about heading further North?

It’s pretty much strait east and it about 80 miles to Montauk

We wont know if slips are available until 2/1

We may also make the trip to Martha’s later in the season

Did you make the Mystic reservation? I tried the dock office several times and just get a recording. Since the deposit is refundable on 24 hours notice, I plan to reserve it now if I can.

No, we have not reserved yet.
I think Mystic you have to mail it.
I was thinking about becoming a member of the seaport, if you do, you save some bucks on docking.

If anyone books, say you are part of the Boatered party.
 
When we went to the Seaport we were able to become members right there when we checked in and pay the lower rate. If you're staying for 3 nights it's worth it.
 
I just spoke to Len at Mystic Seaport and they are booke from June 28th till the 1st- wooden boat show
I may book at Fort Rachel marina near the Packer Inn and dink/walk to town

That's disappointing if they are booked.

We don't have small kids and no dog, so we are open to other places in Mystic. We've been there by car but never by boat so we are looking to meet up with the group.
 
We can shift around Essex and Mystic.
But I will stay whereever.
A pool is always nice for the kids
