Miami - Nantucket live on Webcam...

Nice internet, gentleman's delivery trip. Two (2) weeks, Miami to Nantucket? I hope you are on a day rate.

Bon voyage Pasqual! Et mers tanquilles...

Merci pour les photos du voyage.

Pascal, you won't need this for a couple days yet, but while I'm thinking of it...

On the way to Georgetown, coming out the mouth of Fourmile Creek Canal, stay well inside the red "18" marker as you make a HARD right close to the south bank of the North Santee River. You got to be prepared, the shoal comes out past the marker. I got a little cute and ate big mud; darn lucky we didn't go hard aground. DOH!

As you probably would anyway, if you decide to go out Little River , call TB US Calabash River as you get near, again, very helpful and detailed . There is some dredging going on there as well. Big casino boats go in and out of LI daily. Like a lot of places, there are several non charted buoys due to changing conditions. As tempting as it may be to short cut, go almost to the sea buoy before hanging a left. You have to aim to hit the Cape Fear ship channel at about Red "8"; the charted Western Banks channel is not passable.

As noted on the Cruiser Net site, the Carolina Beach/ ICW intersection has been dredged; there is still dredging going on at the turn coming out of Snow's Cut, call the dredge for passing instructions.

Hope this helps! I'll PM you my phone #, call anytime.

George

Pascal,

Safe travels....looks like a great trip with a great boat! Thursday sounds good for SSI. Unfortunately Lisa won't be here as she's heading down to Boca for work today through Friday, but I'm in town. Great restaurant at the marina (Coastal Kitchen) if you're up for dinner (you may have been there last time...not sure)...see you Thursday evening!

going to be hard to go back to the Hatt. Maybe a live abord capt for the summer is in order.

that listing says 50kts max!!! can that be true?

Got GE running with 4 minute updates in one window and the helmcam in another. Can follow the navigation route and watch the scenery at the same time. How cool !

Thanks, Pascal !

Dive, how do you config it to do auto updates? Been stuck at 11:14 am for awhile now. Maybe its down? I dont know. Thanks

Yep -- the kml file hasn't updated since 11:14.

After you have the file open in GE, go to Pascal's website, right click on the kml file link, go to Properties,, copy the url, back to GE, under Add pick Network Link, paste the url into the address bar, under the Refresh settings I select Periodically and then 4 min's 4 sec, hit okay.

It will check every 4 min's, but it will only update if the kml file is updated.

Maybe not...now moving over to the slip...I love this webcam of his!

Wish we knew where he was. GE is off. Been tracking since yesterday.

yep... we're in St Aygustine (municipal marina)... tried to pump out on the face dock but no vacum... moved to the slip after that.

good run today...New Smyrna and Ponce Inlet sections are beeing dredged, no issue there. North of Haulover canal was all good as well.

not sure about tomorrow, may run some inside, some outside to St Simmons.

Bruce, funny but even though this boat is VERY nice, no problem going back to the Hatt. in a couple of weeks :-)

RGY, Teh listing was full of errors... top speed is 31Kts...

70' moving at 31 kts....uh, I don't think I have a credit card with a limit high enough for that type of fuel bill...
