Jodon2,

Yes, this looks about big enough for a canoe!

While this post keeps the home bound entertained, I question the wisdom of broadcasting the real time movements of a high value yacht with the owner on board, for all the world to see.

From jodon2's post that shows the boat at 4:35 to the display that is showing now, at 5:19, there's been no movement of the boat at all. Either they have anchored out (unlikely), or there may be something awry on the ICW that I'm hoping is not the case.

Or, there may be a dock along that Port side that we cannot see and they are secured for the night. Anyone know?

They could be aground. By the water level on the pilings and the bushes overhanging the bank, there is now about a foot more water than at the earlier shot. I would guess they could be hung up at the bow and are waiting for the tide to lift them.

Mike I'm thinking you are right. And here it is on the webcam for all the ROs to see! Just goes to show even the best of us can run aground or whatever!

more likely docked at the end of a marina than aground.

The image has remained the same since 17:19:41....... I don't think the webcam is working right now. Perhaps a poor cell signal where they are.

I think I was viewing the cam prior to 4 30 when the markers were at a distance. I dont recall seeing any kind of dock on port side that they could pull up to.

I highly doubt they are aground. I would go with "docked."

Hey Pascal, this is Passages from HOF.

Making good progress. If you need taxi service or provisions along the CT coast (New Haven to Old Saybrook) shoot me a PM on HOF.
